About the Course:
Do you want to create peace in your life and find inner stillness? Vipassana or Insight Meditation will help you develop awareness and compassion and give rise to greater peace and happiness in your life.
This course will cover basic breath, body, walking, and loving kindness meditations. There will be ample time for practice and questions. There are two classes to choose from: Four Foundations of Mindfulness for beginners, and Four Noble Truths for experienced meditators. Both classes will work on mindfulness, investigation, concentration, energy, joy, tranquility, and equanimity. Please bring your own cushion.
This course is taught by Nina Nagy who is a graduate of the Community Teachers Program from the Spirit Rock Meditation Center in California. She has been practicing and studying Insight Meditation in many venues with many teachers for over 15 years.
