Dance Camps
About the Camps:
I Love Dance Camp (ages 4-6)
In this camp, young dancers will spend the morning in a fun environment learning ballet, tap, and jazz. Campers will be taught steps, combinations, and short choreography pieces geared specifically for this age group. Appropriate music selections will be used and campers will walk away excited about dance. Tumbling, crafts, and snack time are also included in this camp.
*Please Note: Ballet or soft jazz shoes are required. Tap shoes are optional. Dancewear or bike shorts and a camisole shirt are required. You must bring your own nut-free snack.

Magic of Broadway Junior Dance Camp (entering grades 2-5)
This fun and unique camp offers training in ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, and lyrical/contemporary. Each dancer will study the basics of choreography and choreograph their own dance. To round off our camp days, all dancers will enjoy instruction and practical application in stage makeup, along with crafts and games. Camp ends with a final performance.

Dance and Choreography Intensive Camp (entering grades 6-12)
This dance intensive offers intermediate/advanced training in ballet, jazz, lyrical and tap. It also includes group choreography preparation for a performance at the end of the session. Instruction in creating more intricate choreography for individual and group pieces is an integral part of this intensive. Participation in group choreography pieces and instruction and mentoring in individual choreography pieces is an integral part of this intensive. Dancers work together in support of each other’s technique and creativity.
*Please Note: Dance attire is required, including ballet, jazz/lyrical, and tap shoes. Please call Mrs. Pin at (203) 744-2279 if you need help in acquiring these items.
