Skyhawks Sports Camps

About the Camps:

All Campers: Please bring: appropriate clothing, running shoes, sunscreen, two snacks, and a water bottle.

All camps are held outdoors at East Ridge Middle School located at 10 East Ridge Road (except basketball). The rain location is inside East Ridge Middle School's gymnasium.

Mini-Hawk Multi-Sport (ages 5-6):

The essentials of baseball, basketball, and soccer are taught in a safe, structured environment with lots of encouragement and a big focus on fun. Our Mini-Hawk games and activities were designed to allow campers to explore balance, movement, hand/eye coordination, and skill development at their own pace.

Beginning Golf (ages 5-8):

Participants will learn the fundamentals of swinging, putting, body positioning, etiquette, and keeping score. This camp is specifically designed for the entry-level player, simplifying instruction so that young players can make an easy and effective transition onto the golf course. All equipment is provided.

Basketball (ages 5-10):

This fun, skill-intensive camp is designed for beginner to intermediate players. Using our progressive curriculum, we focus on the whole player - teaching sportsmanship and teamwork. Boys and girls will learn the fundamentals of passing, shooting, ball handling, rebounding, and defense through skill-based instruction and small-sided scrimmages.

Flag Football (ages 7-12):

Experience the excitement of football. Coaches will teach skills like passing, receiving, kicking, and flag pulling. Participants will gain confidence and learn important life lessons in a fun, positive environment.

Sports & Games (ages 7-12):

Our patient and knowledgeable staff use a variety of skill-building games and activities to give each athlete a complete understanding and overview of many different popular sports and games including capture the flag, soccer, ultimate frisbee, basketball, kickball, baseball, four square, flag football, team handball, and many more.

Multi-Sport (ages 7-12):

Four team sports including soccer, flag football, baseball, and basketball are combined into one, fun-filled week!  Athletes will learn the rules and essentials of each sport through skill-based games and scrimmages.  By the end of the week, your child will walk away with knowledge of multiple sports, along with valuable life lessons such as respect, teamwork, and self-discipline.
