STEAM Works Using LEGO Camps

About the Camps:

Building Up STEAM Using LEGO Camp (grades K-1)

It's never too early to begin using the engineering design process! Campers are working independently and cooperatively as they begin to explore simple machines using LEGO® Duplo® early childhood materials. There will be two or three motion-based projects introduced each day of the week, with additional challenge activities for all building skill levels. Students will have the opportunity to work with and bring home evidence-based lab sheets showcasing what they built so they can share it with friends/family and continue learning outside of camp. Projects may include wedge launchers, scissor lifts. and drumming machines.

STEAM Works Using LEGO Camp (grades 2-4)

Engineering design is so much fun! Campers will work with standard LEGO® materials to problem-solve engineering challenges involving structure, levers. gears. pulleys, and other elements of simple machines. There will be two or three projects introduced each day of the week, with additional challenge activities to accommodate all building skill levels. Students will have the opportunity to work with and bring home evidence-based lab sheets showcasing what they built so they can share it with friends/family and continue learning outside of camp. Projects may include drawbridges, flywheel cars, and amusement park rides.

Lunch Bunch:

Sign up so your child can easily extend their camp day or attend a full day of their specialty camps here on campus. We will provide lunchtime supervision and escort your child to their afternoon camp. Please remember to pack a nut-free lunch every day. Space is limited. You must register and pay for the week in full (no prorating) by the Wednesday before camp starts.
