Super Duper Science Sampler (grades 1-5)
For the camper who wants to try it all, this Mad Lab variety camp is for you. This camp has Mad Science’s coolest bits and pieces that will make you go scientifically bonkers. It’s one of our new favorites with fast paced experiments, one after another with topics in laser light, electricity, power, energy, che-mystery, and magnets.
Experience FIZZ-ical Phenomena by stirring up some crazy concoctions, create cool gases, electroplate coins, and make crystals. Dive into electricity by experimenting with squishy circuits and mini Van De Graaff sticks. Learn about power and energy using robots and solar powered devices. Use lasers to get through a maze. Discover the magic behind levitation with magnets. In this camp, you will certainly become a certified “Mad” Scientist. It’s a camp so great it’s super-duper!
Lunch Bunch Option (ages 6-10): Children can stay for lunch until 1:00 pm for $25 per week/per child. You must fill out a registration form at the Recreation Center.

Red Hot Robots (grades 2-6)
Red Hot Robots is our junior robotics camp where children will investigate robotic fundamentals while building an ingenious robot that they get to keep (camp fee includes materials). Campers will learn about circuits, electricity, robotic sensors, gears, mechanisms, and advanced robotic applications.
Students will play with various types of robots while exploring their different capabilities. Are robots just toys? How do they solve today’s problems? What creative child will design tomorrow’s future robots? In addition to their robot, children will build daily take home projects like mega pinchers, levers, and series circuits. Please note that the fee includes materials.
