About the Discoverers:
Arts or sports? Swimming or inflatable water slide? Archery or Gaga? The Discoverers program is designed to give campers a safe environment with independence and decision making opportunities. During their time with us, campers will swim in the pool, zip down our indoor and outdoor water slides, play sports and games, compete in Gaga and archery competitions, fish in our pond, create arts & crafts, and engage in structured and independent activities on the playground and in the gym.
This group offers flexibility and independence throughout the week by allowing campers to choose from a variety of activities so they can spend more time doing the things they love. In addition to the choices built into the campers’ regular day, we will offer structured “Pick Your Own Activity” sessions throughout the week in which counselors and other professionals will offer workshops in areas of interest such as cupcake decorating, slime making, sign language, and specific sports.
Discoverers will travel off campus on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Tuesdays include a half-day trip to Martin Park Beach where campers can play in the sand, splash in the water, and ride down the Zoom Floom. On Thursdays, campers attend age appropriate field trips to locations such as Adventure Park, Brownstone Quarry or Connecticut Sports Center.
Registration is only available in person.
Registration closes the Wednesday before the week of camp that your child will be attending.
