Joe Santaniello's Biography

Joe Santaniello

No stranger to the stage, Santaniello completed his training at the Boston Conservatory in Voice and Opera. Santaniello has performed in many shows professionally including the Off-Broadway operetta Cleopatra, a Life Unparalleled, as part of the Midtown International Theatre Festival in New York City; as well as multiple roles in opera and musical theatre along the East Coast.

In addition to teaching voice and singing professionally, Santaniello has directed over 50 stage productions. He serves as the Program Director of the Rising Stars Intensive program at the Crystal Theatre in Norwalk, CT.  He has led the after school drama departments at both Ridgefield Academy and Our Lady of Fatima School in Wilton, CT.  As the vocal coach for the traveling production of Hungarian Nights, his students performed in Norwalk and Budapest, Hungary.

“Faculty from the Boston Conservatory at Berklee love having students from Santaniello Vocal Studios in our programs, whether it is in the Vocal/Choral Intensive, our summer program for high school students or as collegiate students in the Conservatory itself. These young singers thrive in schedules that are intense and programs that are demanding. They arrive prepared, they study and engage with purpose, they constantly explore their own personal mission, and, ultimately, they find ways to manifest their own purpose in the world. We are so proud of Joe Santaniello, an alumnus of Boston Conservatory's undergraduate program, for developing this studio and for the strong students that the studio produces.” - Patty Thom, Head of the Boston Conservatory Voice and Opera Department
