Adventure Day Camp Week 1: June 24 - June 26

Ridgefield Public Schools have an early dismissal on Wed., June 24. We will still be running a full-day of Adventure Day Camp (9:00-4:00 pm) for those who can attend. We have made special arrangements for bus service from Ridgefield Public Schools (currently attending grades K-6) to the Recreation Center after the early dismissal. Campers will celebrate the last day of school with our Beach Party Theme!

Campers registered for Week 1 will be able to ride the bus directly to camp, counselors will welcome them off the bus, and escort them to their camp group for the afternoon. Parents will then need to only pick up from camp at 4:00 pm or by 5:30 pm if you're registered for After Camp Care.

About the Travelers:

Campers’ days will be packed with new and exciting adventures including great outdoor games, wacky art projects, nature walks, and much more! The campers will be engaged in opportunities for discovery, making new friends, and creating lasting memories. While on campus, this group will participate in our regular camp activities such as sports, daily themes, arts & crafts and pool time. Every day, campers will have a blast playing water games on our fields, running through sprinklers or playing in the Spray Bay. Travelers will also have scheduled recreational swim time in our pool. Counselors will remain in the water with the campers, and lifeguards will be on duty.

In addition to enjoying activities on campus throughout the week, Travelers will have the opportunity to travel off campus. Travelers will visit Martin Park Beach on Tuesdays where they can have fun exploring, playing in the sand, and splashing in the water. They also participate in field trips on select Thursdays and locations may include outdoor places such as a nature center or local farm.
