Martin Park Beach

About the Beach:

Martin Park Beach offers seasonal swimming and kayaking activities in a natural, spring-fed pond from late May-September (Labor Day). Great Pond is one of the gems of Connecticut. Come enjoy our sandy beach for a quick dip, or bring a picnic and spend the day! Lifeguard staffing is provided during operation hours. 2026 Season: May 23 - September 7

Drop-ins are not available on Memorial Day weekend (May 23-25), Fourth of July weekend (July 3-5), and Labor Day weekend (Sept. 5-7).  The beach will be free for Recreation Center members when our building is closed on May 25, July 4, and September 7.

On May 31, the beach will open at 12:00 pm due to the TriRidgefield Triathlon.
