Martin Park Beach

19 Great Pond Road

About the Beach:

Martin Park Beach offers seasonal swimming and kayaking activities in a natural, spring-fed pond from late May-September (Labor Day). Great Pond is one of the gems of Connecticut. Come enjoy our sandy beach for a quick dip, or bring a picnic and spend the day! Lifeguard staffing is provided during operation hours. Please follow our Facebook & Instagram pages for weather-related closures.

Season: May 25 - September 2

Drop-ins are not available on holiday weekends (Memorial Day, July 4, and Labor Day). The beach will be free for Recreation Center members when our building is closed on May 27, July 4, and September 2.

June 24 - August 25
Daily: 10:00 am - 6:45 pm

August 26 - September 2
Monday - Friday: 3:00 pm - 6:45 pm
Saturday, Sunday (9/2): 10:00 am - 6:45 pm

Labor Day Weekend
Saturday, August 31 - Monday, Sept. 2: 10:00 am - 6:45 pm
