Discoverers (entering grades 5-6)

Discoverers

About the Discoverers:

Arts or sports? Archery or Gaga? Pool or beach? Our program for older campers is designed to give participants a safe environment with independence and decision making opportunities. During their time with us, campers will swim in the pool, play sports and games, compete in Gaga and archery competitions, fish in our pond, create arts & crafts, and engage in structured and independent activities.

This group offers flexibility and autonomy throughout the week by allowing campers to choose from a variety of activities so they can spend more time doing the things they love. In addition to the choices built into the campers’ regular day, we will offer structured “Pick Your Own Activity” sessions throughout the week in which counselors and other professionals will offer workshops in areas of interest such as slime making, sign language, and specific sports.

Discoverers will travel off campus on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Tuesdays include a visit to Martin Park Beach. On Thursdays, campers attend age appropriate field trips to outdoor locations that may include an amusement park or a zipline course.
