NYC Street Art Class

About the Course:

This 6-week course, designed and led by RPS teacher Thomas DiMarzo, will immerse students into the history and culture of New York City street art by studying the legendary artists that turned this art form into a global phenomenon. Each class includes a brief history lesson on an artist, their art medium, and their unique techniques. Then students will create an art piece inspired by the style/technique of the street artist studied that day. Students should bring their creativity and curiosity for art; a sketchbook and all other materials are provided.
